One wounded in 87 enemy strikes on Zaporizhzhia region on Aug 8

Zaporizhzhia region governor Yurii Malashko said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"In the last 24 hours, the occupiers launched 87 strikes on 21 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. The settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Novoandriivka, Novodarivka, Huliaipilske, Olhivske, Malynivka, Charivne, Chervone, Bilohiria, Levadne, Shcherbaky, Mala Tokmachka, Zatyshshe, Kamianske, Stepove, Piatykhatky and Lobkove were hit by artillery 87 times. Four MLRS attacks targeted Novodarivka, Temyrivka and Stepove and four UAV attacks hit Novodarivka, Kamianske and Lukianivka. Russian troops launched three air strikes on Orikhiv and Novodarivka," the post said.

A 63-year-old man was injured by Russian shelling in Orikhiv, Malashko said.
