Due tо destruction of warehouses, enemy experiencing shell hunger - Humeniuk
This was stated by Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, at a briefing at the Ukraine-Ukraine Media Center.
According to her, last week the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed seven enemy ammunition depots in the Left Bank. As a result, the number of attacks on the south of Ukraine decreased significantly and reached 30 per day. The Ukrainian Armed Forces' efficient work along the Russians' transportation routes has slowed down and complicated their logistics.
"From time to time they manage to pull up some resources in terms of ammunition, equipment and personnel. But this is not in line with the pace of combat events, so there is a drop in statistics when the enemy loses the ability to attack, and the number of attacks decreases. This is a manifestation of shell hunger," explained Humeniuk.
She also said that later the enemy was able to pull up resources and raised the number of attacks to 90 per day.
"Continuing the counter-battery fight, we keep pushing them along the left bank to prevent them from shelling remotely. We also lost two weapons depots. Once again we see that 54 attacks were made over the last day, which is a significant decrease," added Humeniuk.
As reported, the Russian army attacked 10 regions of Ukraine yesterday, killing and injuring people.
