
Russian troops fire 264 shells on Kherson region, injuring two

Russian troops launched 55 strikes on Kherson region over the past day, injuring two civilians.
"Over the past day, the enemy launched 55 strikes, firing 264 shells from mortars, artillery, Grad MLRS, tanks, UAVs, anti-tank missiles, and aviation. The enemy fired 72 shells on Kherson city," Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin posted on Telegram.
The Russian military hit the residential neighborhoods of the region’s populated settlements; the premises of two banks and a consulate, the territory of a detention center in Kherson city.
Two people were injured due to the Russian aggression.
As reported, a healthcare facility was hit, a doctor was killed, and five more medical workers were injured in a Russian attack on Kherson on August 1.
