Death toll in Russian attack on Kostiantynivka rises to two

Yesterday's attack on Ukraine's eastern city of Kostiantynivka has killed two people, including a ten-year-old boy.

Donetsk region governor Pavlo Kyrylenko said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"According to an update as of 07:00, yesterday's shelling of Kostiantynivka killed two people (including a ten-year-old boy, who received fatal injuries) and injured seven (including four children - girls aged 5, 11 and 12, and a 12-year-old boy)," the post reads.

According to Kyrylenko, one girl is in serious condition. She was taken to the neighboring region for highly qualified medical care. Other children are in satisfactory condition.

Russian forces shelled Kostiantynivka with cluster munitions at around 19:00 on Monday, July 24. The enemy shelled a local reservoir, where people were taking rest on the coast.
