Ukraine soldiers down Shahed kamikaze drone over Sumy region

Ukraine’s air defense forces shot down an Iranian-made Shahed one-way attack drone that the Russian forces launched at Sumy region.
That’s according to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.
"Our air defense forces destroyed an enemy Shahed in the sky over Sumy region," the administration reported on Telegram.
As reported earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force warned citizens overnight Monday of the threat of a Russian drone attack at Odesa.
The Russian Federation is trying to increase the production of UAVs and missiles, said Vadym Skibitskyi, Deputy Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Defense Ministry.
Now the efforts of both Ukrainian government agencies and military intelligence of Ukraine are aimed at blocking the supply channels for foreign-made components to Russia that are used in arms manufacturing.
