
In Poltava region, residents of two villages receive ₴2.7 million to rebuild their homes
This was reported by the Poltava Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.
"Neighboring communities joined the restoration of houses in Checheleve village near Kremenchuk that were damaged by shelling: Omelnyk, Pishchanka, Nova Haleshchyna. In total, more than 90 objects were damaged in the village. Most of them are roofs and windows," the statement said.
It is noted that the villagers also received financial assistance from the regional budget. These are 95 residents of the villages of Checheleve and Yalyntsi in the amount of almost UAH 2.7 million.
Today, almost all housing has been restored, but there are still buildings that need major repairs. Their residents have applied for assistance under the state program eRecovery. Commissions are currently working to inspect these buildings.
As reported, according to the ICIP, 664 cultural heritage sites have been damaged as a result of Russian aggression in Ukraine.
