The progress of Ukrainian troops sometimes looks insignificant, but the overall success of the Defense Forces is quite convincing. On the left bank, due to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russians suffer losses every day.

The relevant statement was made by Head of the Joint Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine Nataliia Humeniuk at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine - Ukrinform.

"The advance of the Defense Forces, even by a few meters, cannot always be declared and considered a success on the same day. It needs to be consolidated, and those involved need to be protected. That is why the military cannot announce such news every day. But if you add all these successes together, the reports look quite convincing," noted Humeniuk.

In particular, according to her, every day on the left bank from 20 to 90 Russians "follow the course of a Russian warship" thanks to the work of the Armed Forces. "That's where we send the boats that they took from the population on the left bank and equipped them for sabotage and reconnaissance groups," she said.

As Ukrinform reported, the commander of the Ukrainian Land Forces, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, said the other day that the counteroffensive of Ukrainian forces was going according to plan. According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not yet used their full potential for the counteroffensive.

Lieutenant General Douglas Sims, director of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said that the current pace of the Ukrainian counteroffensive is due to the fact that the advance is taking place in very difficult conditions. At the same time, the achievements of the Ukrainian military continue to be impressive.
