Zelensky holds Supreme CinC Staff meeting regarding situation on front

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has held a regular meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief regarding the situation on the battlefield to discuss the advancement and defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Another Supreme CinC Staff meeting. Reports by the commanders – Zaluzhnyi, Syrskyi, Tarnavskyi – regarding the situation on the front, advancement, defense,” the Head of State wrote.

The participants discussed the new security aid packages. President Zelensky heard a report by Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov. Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov briefed the participants on the improvement in supply logistics.

The members of the Staff considered the development of domestic production, namely good results regarding unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and the increasing maintenance volumes. Relevant reports were presented by the Ukrainian Strategic Industries Ministry and Commander of the Logistics Forces Oleh Huliak.

The participants also discussed the protection of nuclear power plants and the northern border, the results of inspecting the readiness of the Defense Forces for the completion of relevant tasks. The Head of State heard the reports by Ukrainian Internal Affairs Minister Ihor Klymenko, Ukrainian State Border Guard Service Head Serhii Deineka, and Chief Inspector at the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Ihor Voronchenko.

Following the report by Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Kyrylo Budanov, Zelensky concluded that, considering the intelligence data and the measures taken, there is no threat of an invasion from Belarus at the moment.
