The death toll from Russian shelling of the city of Lyman, Donetsk region, has increased to eight people.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry reported this on Telegram.
"Eight people were killed and five wounded as a result of morning enemy shelling," the report reads.

Rescuers extinguished fires in a private residential building, an annex to the printing house building, and three cars that caught fire due to the shelling.
The ministry later reported that according to the updated information, the injury toll had increased to 13.
Early on July 8, the Russian army struck private houses in Lyman, Donetsk region, with multiple rocket launchers. It was reported that six people had been killed and five injured in the attack.
