Six injured people in Lviv hospitals following missile attack

Six people injured in yesterday's rocket attack on the city are being treated in two city hospitals in Lviv. They have shrapnel injuries, various injuries to their faces and limbs.

This was reported by the press service of the Lviv City Council, according to Ukrinform.

"The victims sustained external injuries to their faces and limbs due to shards of glass or other heavy objects that could have fallen and hit them. They also received shrapnel injuries. Their condition is of moderate severity, they are being treated," said Serhiy Ishchuk, head of the admission department at St. Panteleimon Hospital.

Four patients remain in the hospital: a woman and three men.

At St. Luke's Hospital, doctors are continuing to treat two patients.

"The hospitalized have injuries to their limbs, torso and cut injuries. Their condition is satisfactory, they are recovering," said hospital director Vasyl Trunkvalter.

According to medical forecasts, the inpatient treatment will last for several more days. The youngest patient is 20 years old, the oldest is 74 years old.

As Ukrinform reported, on July 6, Russian troops attacked Lviv with Kalibr cruise missiles. As a result of yesterday's Russian missile attack on a residential building in Lviv, 10 people were killed. Another 48 sustained injuries and traumas of varying severity.
