Ukrainian forces advancing in Tavria direction, Russians lost some of their positions - Tarnavskyi

In the Tavria direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are advancing, Russian troops have been knocked out from a number of their positions.

General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the Commander of the Tavria Operational-Strategic Group of Troops, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The defense forces are advancing in the Tavria direction. The enemy has been knocked out of a number of their positions. Units of the rocket forces and artillery completed 1,283 fire missions during the day. The enemy's losses in killed and wounded amounted to almost three companies in the past day," the report says.  

The Ukrainian defenders destroyed 36 units of enemy military equipment, including two tanks, nine armoured fighting vehicles, two D-30 guns, four BM-21 Grad units, three Supercam UAVs, one Lancet UAV, one Orlan-10 UAV, two 2A36 Giatsint-B guns, one 2S5 Giatsint–S gun, one Pantsir anti-aircraft system, one 9K330 Tor anti-aircraft missile system, two 2S3 Akatsia self-propelled artillery systems, one EW station, and vehicles.

Two enemy ammunition depots and a command post were also destroyed.
