War update: Thirty-six military clashes occur in three directions

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Last night Russian terrorists launched another missile and air attack on Ukraine’s territory. Information about the aftermath of that terrorist attack is yet to be updated. Over the past day, the enemy has used six S-300 guided missiles to attack civilian objects in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Additionally, Russian invaders launched 33 air strikes and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) over 45 times. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, casualties among civilians were reported; residential houses, household and administrative buildings, and private cars were damaged.

The threat of Russian missile and air strikes is persisting all over Ukraine, according to the General Staff.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remained rather unchanged.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, Russian troops launched an air strike near the Kharkiv region’s Zelene, as well as mortar and artillery strikes on the Chernihiv region’s Hremiachka and Tymonovychi; the Sumy region’s Khodyne, Malushyne, Kozache, Vorozhba, Iskryskivshchyna, Pavlivka and Katerynivka; the Kharkiv region’s Udy, Veterynarne, Hraniv, Kozacha Lopan, Krasne, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Bochkove, Okhrimivka, Budarky, Kruhle, Zemlianky, Vilkhuvatka, Hryhorivka, Odradne and Chuhunivka.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian occupiers conducted offensive actions to the west of the Luhansk region’s Kryvoshyivka but had no success. The enemy launched air strikes near the Kharkiv region’s Kyslivka and Kotliarivka, as well as artillery and mortar strikes on the Kharkiv region’s Kolodiazne, Krasne Pershe, Fyholivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Masiutivka, Kyslivka and Berestove.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive actions towards the Donetsk region’s Vesele and Rozdolivka. The enemy launched air strikes near Torske, Dibrova, Bilohorivka, Zvanivka and Spirne, as well as artillery strikes on the Luhansk region’s Nevske and Bilohorivka, and the Donetsk region’s Torske, Serebrianka, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne and Rozdolivka.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian invaders conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near the Donetsk region’s Minkivka, Hryhorivka and Bohdanivka. The enemy launched air strikes near Khromove and Sukha Balka, as well as artillery strikes on the Donetsk region’s Vasiukivka, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozarianivka and New York.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops launched an air strike near Avdiivka, as well as artillery strikes on the Donetsk region’s Berdychi, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Karlivka and Pervomaiske.

In the Marinka direction, Russian invaders conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near the Donetsk region’s Marinka. The enemy launched an air strike near Krasnohorivka, as well as artillery strikes on the Donetsk region’s Hostre, Heorhiivka and Marinka.

In the Shakhtarske direction, Russian occupiers conducted unsuccessful offensive actions towards Novomykhailivka. The enemy launched air strikes near the Donetsk region’s Prechystivka and Blahodatne, as well as shelled the Donetsk region’s Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Storozheve, Makarivka, Novosilka and Novopil.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian troops are focusing efforts to prevent Ukrainian forces from advancing. The enemy tried in vain to regain its lost positions near the Zaporizhzhia region’s Novodarivka. Russian invaders launched air strikes near the Zaporizhzhia region’s Levadne and Novodanylivka. The enemy attacked about 30 settlements with artillery, including the Zaporizhzhia region’s Temyrivka, Novodarivka, Levadne, Olhivske, Malynivka, Zelenyi Hai, Zatyshshia and Huliaipole; the Dnipropetrovsk region’s Nikopol; the Kherson region’s Mylove, Beryslav, Kozatske, Lvove, Mykilske, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Kherson and Dniprovske; and the Mykolaiv region’s Ochakiv.

In the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s Air Force has launched eight strikes on enemy personnel clusters. The Ukrainian military destroyed six Russian reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Ukraine’s missile and artillery units hit two Russian command posts, three personnel and military equipment clusters, four ammunition depots, one electronic warfare system, 10 artillery units in firing positions, and three important military targets.
