Man steps on landmine during field works in Kherson region

A civilian stepped on a Russian landmine during field works in Kherson region. He was taken to hospital with injuries.

"A civilian stepped on a Russian landmine during field works in the village of Borozenske. Due to the detonation of explosives, the 36-year-old man received burns on 20% of his body – face, hands, and legs. The injured man was taken to a burn center in Kryvyi Rih. His condition is moderate," the Kherson Regional Military Administration posted on Telegram.

The Administration once again noted that the mine danger in Kherson region remains extremely high and called on people not to visit the territories that have not yet been inspected by explosives technicians.

"Forest areas, fields, the shores of reservoirs and roadsides are most contaminated with explosives. Do not risk your life and health!" the regional administration emphasized.
