First part of intended batch of Russian nukes already transferred to Belarus - Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the first batch of nuclear charges that are supposed to be deployed in neighboring Belarus has been delivered to the country.

This is reported by Ukrinform with reference to the Telegram channel of the Russian state information agency.

"Russia has moved the first part of the promised nuclear charges to Belarus but we will complete the task by the end of the year," Putin said.

As reported on Wednesday, the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said that Russian tactical nuclear weapons were already arriving in the country. In turn, on June 9, at a meeting with Lukashenko in Sochi, Putin stated that tactical nukes would be delivered to Belarus after July 7-8.
