Ukraine's military personnel in the United Kingdom are undergoing training to conduct positional and anti-ambush combat operations in a wooded area.

The press service of the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces said this in a Facebook post, according to Ukrinform.

"Classes on conducting combat operations in a wooded area - military instructors of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Sweden, as part of the multinational training operation INTERFLEX on basic military training of personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Britain, conduct complex tactical classes on conducting positional and anti-ambush combat operations in a forest," the post reads.

Under the guidance of Swedish Armed Forces instructors, the recruits of the Armed Forces of Ukraine became professionally trained and ready for combat conditions during the defense of Ukraine from Russian aggressors.

This training makes it possible to master the necessary tactical skills, increases the safety and professionalism of the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, so that service members can skillfully use the acquired necessary tactical knowledge for the defense of Ukraine.

In addition, Sweden and the United Kingdom continue to support the people of Ukraine and work tirelessly with international partners to provide permanent support to Ukraine in response to Russia's continued violation of international law.

"This is priceless, as the people of Ukraine continue to fight for their right to live in a sovereign, independent and democratic state," the General Staff said.
