Kharkiv region’s Vovchansk, Lyptsi come under enemy fire

Russian troops have opened fire on the Kharkiv region’s city of Vovchansk and village of Lyptsi. As a result, a civilian was injured, and detached houses were damaged.

The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Region’s Police on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On May 23, 2023, Russian troops shelled the Chuhuiv district’s city of Vovchansk. A civilian man, 33, was injured. He suffered shrapnel injuries and was taken to hospital in moderately grave condition. Detached houses were damaged,” the report states.

Additionally, the enemy attacked the Kharkiv district’s village of Lyptsi. Operational investigative teams and explosives experts are working at the scene.

A reminder that, on May 22, 2023, Russian invaders were massively shelling settlements across four districts in the Kharkiv region.
