Animals in Kyiv Zoo not injured by falling missile debris – Klitschko

In Kyiv, Russian missile debris fell on the territory of the zoo, anti-stress measures are being conducted with the animals.

Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"As a result of the shelling of Kyiv by Russian barbarians last night, fragments of a missile fell on the territory of the capital's zoo. Fortunately, none of the animals or workers were injured. There was no fire," Klitschko wrote.

He noted that "missile debris damaged the greenery, but all the broken branches have already been removed."

Klitschko also said that now anti-stress measures are being conducted with the animals.

"And today, as usual, the zoo will open for visitors at 10:00. So come to calm down and support the residents of Kyiv zoo," he wrote.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine downed six Kinzhal missiles, nine Kalibr missiles and three ballistic missiles at night.
