Russia’s attack on village near Zaporizhzhia: Number of those injured grows to eight

Russian forces struck the village of Malokaterynivka in Zaporizhzhia district with multiple launch rocket systems on Wednesday evening. Eight people have been injured.

Yuriy Malashko, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy massively attacked Malokaterynivka with MLRS, where eight people were injured by cluster munitions. Three of them are ambulance workers who arrived on call," the report says.

It is noted that local residents - three men and two women - were also injured. They were provided with all necessary assistance.

Overall, the enemy once again attacked peaceful towns and villages of Zaporizhzhia region in the past day. After 70 strikes, more than 30 cases of destructions were recorded in 20 settlements. The enemy struck 60 times with artillery, five times with MLRS, launched three airstrikes, one missile attack, and one UAV attack. Private houses, cars, property of residents, social institutions and utility networks were damaged in Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Stepnohirsk and surrounding villages.

As earlier reported, Russian troops attacked a village near Zaporizhzhia. Five people were reported injured.
