Enemy shells four districts of Kharkiv region

Russian troops shelled the populated settlements in four districts of Kharkiv region over the past day.

"Over the past day, the enemy continued to terrorize the civilian population of Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, Izium, and Kupyansk districts of the region," Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

In particular, Vovchansk, Chervona Zoria, Udy, Veterynarne, Kozacha Lopan, Starytsia, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, and Lyman Pershyi came under Russian fire.

On Friday, May 5, around 17:25, Russian troops launched a missile attack on the village of Chystovodivka, Izium district. The missile hit a field not far from residential buildings. There were no casualties or damage.

Over the past day, the enemy shelled Vovchansk twice with artillery and mortars. Seven residential buildings were damaged. There were no casualties.

As Syniehubov added, demining works are ongoing in Kharkiv region. Over the past day, the explosive technicians of the State Emergency Service examined more than 11.5 hectares of territory and defused 122 explosive objects.

As reported, on May 3, a tractor drove on an anti-tank mine in the Izium district, Kharkiv region. A man was injured.
