Russian army carries out 17 air strikes in Luhansk region over two days

 In Luhansk region, the Russian army carried out 17 air strikes in two days.

This was reported by the Luhansk Regional Military Administration on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"During the day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Bilohorivka. The Russian army does not give up hopes of capturing this small settlement but has been facing resistance from our defenders for months. This time Novoselivske, Nevske, Kuzmine, Pishchane and Bilohorivka came under artillery fire," the statement reads.

It is noted that in addition to artillery, the Russians are actively using aviation in this area of the front. In the previous two days alone, 17 air strikes were recorded there.

The Administration emphasized that the aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, in turn, carried out 6 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers over the day. Ukrainian defenders also shot down two enemy Orlan-10 UAVs.

At the same time, missile and artillery units hit four areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, two enemy ammunition depots, and an enemy radar station.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated about 180,590 Russian servicemen from February 24, 2022, to April 13, 2023, with another 540 killed over the past day.
