One killed, one injured in Russian shelling of Kharkiv region

In Kharkiv region, Russian invaders shelled at least 14 border settlements over the past day. One civilian was killed and another one was injured.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

Settlements of region’s Kharkiv, Kupiansk and Chuhuiv districts came under enemy shelling, including Kupiansk, Dvorichna, Pishchane, Krokhmalne, Zapadne, Udy, Veterynarne and others.

In Kupiansk district, a 43-year-old civilian was killed and another civilian, a 46-year-old man, was injured as a result of Russian strikes on Kutkivka village. The victim was hospitalized in moderate condition.

In the village of Velykyi Burluk, the invaders damaged the buildings of an agricultural enterprise with an S-300 missile. A private house was damaged in Podoly village.

Mine clearance operations are ongoing in the region. According to Syniehubov, over the past day, experts of the State Emergency Service examined more than 6.5 hectares of territory and disposed 96 explosive objects.

"On the contact line, our defenders reliably hold their positions and eliminate the manpower and equipment of the enemy," added the regional governor.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops struck Kherson region 60 times in the past day, killing a civilian and injuring two others.
