Casualties reported as invaders strike Zaporizhzhia region

One civilian was killed and two more were injured in the enemy shelling of Huliaypole, Zaporizhzhia region.

"Over the past two days, the police registered 36 reports on destruction. The housing infrastructure of Polohy district was damaged, in particular, the houses of the residents of Huliaypole and Orikhiv," the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration posted on Telegram.

It is noted that in Huliaypole, in addition to the destroyed houses, the enemy took the life of a 63-year-old local resident. Also, as a result of the attack, two people – a 58-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman – were injured by projectile fragments. They were hospitalized.

Russian troops shelled the territory of Zaporizhzhia region with MLRS, aircraft, and artillery and also used drones.

The settlements of Polohy district came under the most intensive fire. In Orikhiv, houses and outbuildings were destroyed and the territory of households was damaged as a result of an airstrike and periodic artillery shelling.

As reported, over the past day, the enemy launched 62 attacks on the civilian infrastructure of Huliaypole, Charivne, Zaliznychne, Maly Shcherbaky, Huliaypilske, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Bilohirya, Olhivske, Chervone, Malynivka, Orikhiv settlements in Zaporizhzhia region.
