Mykolaiv region’s power engineers receive 680 t of equipment for repair works

Mykolaiv region has received 680 tonnes of energy equipment and materials for repair works.

"In general, under the coordination of the Ministry of Energy, Mykolaiv power companies received more than 680 tonnes of various equipment and materials for carrying out repair and restoration works. About EUR 4 million more from the Ukraine Energy Support Fund will soon be allocated to purchase energy equipment and materials for the needs of Mykolaiv region,” the press service of the Ministry of Energy reported.  

It is noted that power engineers resumed electricity supply to the last Mykolaiv region’s settlement that had been without electricity for a long time due to military operations.

"The most difficult heating season in Ukraine’s history is almost over. We got through it with dignity. And now, together with local colleagues, we have outlined the main tasks and measures and are starting preparations for the next autumn-winter period,” said Ministry of Energy German Galushchenko.

As reported, since Russia’s full-scale invasion started, 450 shipments of humanitarian aid with energy equipment arrived in Ukraine under the coordination of the Ministry of Energy. The total weight of the aid reached more than 5,650 tonnes.
