Man injured in land mine blast in Kharkiv region

In Kharkiv region, a resident of Snizhkivka village was injured after stepping on a land mine left by Russian invaders. He was hospitalized with shrapnel wounds.

"In the village of Snizhkivka, Izium district, a 40-year-old civilian man stepped on a ‘petal’ mine. As a result of the explosion, he received shrapnel wounds and a mine blast injury. He was hospitalized in a moderate condition," Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, wrote on Telegram.

As reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated most of Izium district from Russian invaders in the September 2022 counteroffensive.

Kharkiv region’s liberated territories are the most explosive-contaminated areas in Ukraine.
