Border guards prevent enemy from breaking into Donetsk region. Sixty invaders eliminated

Soldiers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine stopped the Russian military's attempt to break through the defense line in one of the directions in Donetsk region. Sixty invaders were eliminated.

“On Tuesday, February 14, in one of the directions, the Russians tried to break through the defense line of the State Border Guard Service unit with significant forces. At dawn, the enemy artillery gunners launched a massive attack on a stronghold of the border guards. After the fire, the enemy infantry went on the offensive,” the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine informs.

The border guards determined the direction of the main attack, the unit carried out a maneuver and began to repel the attack. Several waves of attackers were stopped by fire from mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms.

"In the battle, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided reliable support to the border guards. And Ukrainian artillery struck the area where the enemy was concentrating reserves for further engagement. Having no success, the enemy retreated to regroup," the State Border Guard Service noted.

According to the State Border Guard Service data, Ukrainian defenders eliminated more than 60 Russian soldiers today.

As reported, Russia has already lost about 139,770 military personnel, 3,290 tanks, 6,507 armored personnel vehicles, 2,303 artillery systems, and other equipment in the full-scale war waged against Ukraine as of February 15.
