Russian S-300 missiles hit boarding school in Kharkiv region

In the Kharkiv region’s Kupiansk district, Russian troops have shelled a boarding school with the S-300 missile system. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In his words, on January 19, 2023, the enemy continued to attack the Kharkiv region’s border areas.

In particular, Russian invaders opened fire on such settlements as Tymofiivka, Veterynarne, Strilecha, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Vilcha, Dvorichna and Kupiansk with mortars, artillery and multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

In the Bohodukhiv district’s Tymofiivka, the enemy launched about 20 artillery strikes. Four detached houses were damaged.

In the Chuhuiv district’s Vovchansk, two 9-storey apartment blocks came under enemy fire: the roof and windows were blown out. Additionally, 10 detached houses, garages and household buildings were damaged.

In the Kupiansk district’s Kupiansk and Dvorichna, five detached houses, household buildings and cars were damaged. The enemy also struck a boarding school with the S-300 missile system. No casualties were reported.
