Nine civilians injured in Russia’s missile strike on Zaporizhzhia

The number of civilians injured in Russia’s missile attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia, which took place on the night of January 16, 2023, has increased from five to nine.

The relevant statement was made by the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Nine people were injured in the missile attack. Four of them were taken to hospital, including two children, 9 and 15,” the report states.

According to the police, the aggressor again targeted civilians. The enemy S-300 missile hit two meters away from a 5-storey apartment block.
