Russian troops shell Nikopol district overnight

Russian troops shelled the Nikopol district, Dnipropetrovsk region, overnight.

Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Valentyn Reznichenko, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The Nikopol district came under enemy shelling again... At night, the Russians shelled the district several times with heavy artillery. At least 15 shells landed in the Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka communities," he wrote.

People were not injured.

 In the Chervonohryhorivka community, 15 private houses and commercial buildings, power lines and a gas pipeline were damaged.

As reported by Ukrinform, in the Zaporizhzhia direction yesterday, the enemy used tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery to fire at the positions of Ukrainian troops in the areas of 24 settlements, including: Mylove, Huliaipole, Dorozhnianka, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Stepove, Plavni, Shcherbaky, and Kachkarivka in Zaporizhzhia region.
