Armed Forces of Ukraine hit two enemy command posts, electronic warfare system

Over the past day, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck two enemy command posts, nine manpower and equipment clusters, an ammunition depot, and an electronic warfare system.

This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06:00, January 15, published on Facebook.

"Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched three airstrikes, 57 missile strikes, 69 MLRS attacks, in particular, on civilian infrastructure. To launch missile strikes on the capital and other settlements of Ukraine, the enemy used S-300/S-400 guided missiles. The enemy also fired 41 air- and sea-launched cruise missiles and guided air-to-air missiles which are high-precision weapons. Our defenders destroyed 26 missiles," reads the report.

The enemy does not give up its intentions to completely seize Donetsk region, concentrating the main efforts on offensive operations in Bakhmut direction. The Russians also go on the offensive in Lyman, Avdiika, and Novopavlivka directions. In Kupyansk direction, the enemy tries to improve its tactical position.

Over the past day, the Ukrainian troops repelled the enemy attacks in the areas of Makiivka and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, Bilohorivka, Sil, Soledar, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Novobakhmutivka, Krasnohorivka, Vodiane, Mayorsk, and Marinka in Donetsk region.

In Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the situation did not change much, no enemy offensive groups were detected. The areas of Vovkivka and Kindrativka settlements in Sumy region; Veterynarne, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Budarky, Strilecha, Ternova, Chuhunivka, Khatnie, and Topoli in Kharkiv region were hit with mortars and artillery.

In Kupyansk direction, the areas of Dvorichna, Zapadne, Synkivka, Orlianka, Kotliarivka, Berestove, and Krokhmalne settlements in Kharkiv region, as well as Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region, were struck.

In Lyman direction, Makiivka, Ploshchanka, Nevske, Kreminna, Dibrova, and Chervonopopivka in Luhansk region came under fire.

In Bakhmut direction, Spirne, Vyimka, Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, Soledar, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut, Vesele, Druzhba, and Pivnichne in Donetsk region were hit.

In Avdiivka direction, the enemy fired tanks and rocket artillery at Krasnohorivka, Vesele, Avdiivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Berdychi, Vodiane, and Novomykhailivka settlements in Donetsk region.

In Novopavlivka direction, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk region were struck.

In Zaporizhzhia region, Malynivka, Huliaypole, Dorozhnianka, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, Stepove, and Plavni in Zaporizhzhia region came under enemy fire.

In Kherson direction, Kherson and Antonivka in Kherson region and Dmytrivka in Mykolaiv region were struck with rocket and tube artillery. No civilian casualties were reported.

The enemy continues suffering casualties daily. On January 12, in Starobilsk direction, Luhansk region, about 50 wounded enemy personnel, who fought near Svatove, were evacuated.

According to the General Staff data, as of January 12, 10 units of T-80BV tanks remained in working condition in one of the tank battalions of the 26th tank regiment of the Russian armed forces participating in hostilities in Kupyansk direction. The rest are either destroyed or out of action. About 30 members of the battalion personnel survived.
