Ukraine’s Armed Forces repel enemy attacks near nine settlements

The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks near nine settlements on December 31.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a morning update published on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 31 missile attacks, 12 air strikes and carried out more than 70 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). The civilian infrastructure of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions came under enemy attack. Information on civilian casualties is being verified.

In addition, the enemy launched 13 Iranian Shahed-136 UAVs. All of them were destroyed by the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

The threat of enemy air strikes and missile attacks remains throughout the entire territory of Ukraine.

Over the past day, Ukrainian soldiers repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Stelmakhivka, Ploshchanka and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Ozarianivka, Maryinka and Pobieda in Donetsk region.

It is noted that the enemy is losing manpower. During the last week, about 350 wounded invaders were transported to the city hospital of Bilovodsk, Luhansk region.

On December 30, 160 occupiers were wounded and 10 units of military equipment of various types were destroyed in Zaporizhzhia region. Information on enemy losses is being verified.

According to the General Staff, the enemy enhanced counter-intelligence measures in the area of Lyman Druhyi settlement in Kharkiv region. They conduct search for pro-Ukrainian population.

The Ukrainian Air Force launched attacks on an area of concentration of Russian invaders, as well as a position of enemy air defense system. Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit a command post, 4 areas of concentration of enemy manpower, as well as a command post of enemy UAVs.
