Enemy attacked Ukraine with missiles fired from area of Volgodonsk, Caspian and Black Seas - Air Force

The enemy on Thursday attacked Ukraine with missiles fired from the area of Volgodonsk, Rostov Region, the northern part of the Caspian Sea, and the Black Sea.

The Ukrainian Air Force said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Eleven Shahed-131/136 loitering munitions were destroyed by air defense at night in the eastern direction. At around 7 o'clock in the morning, the enemy attacked Ukraine with Kh-101/Kh-555 air-based cruise missiles fired from Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the area of Volgodonsk, Rostov region, and the northern part of the Caspian Sea, as well as with Kalibr cruise missiles fired from ships in the Black Sea. In addition, up to six Kh-22 and Kh-32 cruise missiles were launched from Tu-22M3 long-range bombers, and two Kh-31P anti-radar missiles were launched," the report said.

The invaders also used S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles against infrastructure in the front-line towns.

Earlier reports said that Russian troops used 69 missiles during the December 29 attack on Ukraine. Fifty-four of them were destroyed by Ukrainian air defense forces.
