Enemy shells Dnipropetrovsk region, injuring one

Russian forces shelled the Nikopol, Marhanets and Myrove communities of the Dnipropetrovsk region last night.

Valentyn Reznichenko, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, said this in a statement on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Nikopol was hardest hit. A 39-year-old man was wounded there. He is in the hospital. His condition is moderate," he wrote.

Eight apartment blocks and private buildings, several shops, a furniture factory, a hotel, a bus stop, a gas pipeline and electricity networks were damaged in the city.

Russian shells caused a fire at a gas station and garages. Firefighters have already put out the blaze.

No casualties were recorded in the Marhanets and Myrove communities.
