Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has shown German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier the consequences of Russia’s attacks on downtown Kyiv.

According to Ukrinform, Klitschko wrote this on Telegram.

"Today I showed German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier the consequences of terrorist attacks by Russian barbarians on the center of Kyiv," the Kyiv mayor wrote.

Klitschko said that during the meeting, the further support for Ukraine was discussed.

"We need weapons, we need air defense systems to protect the homes of Kyiv residents and all Ukrainians, to protect critical infrastructure facilities. Because Russia has become more violent and is increasing terrorist attacks. The civilized world should respond to this and increase aid to Ukraine," he said.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the morning of October 10, Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. In Kyiv, Russian missiles damaged 45 residential buildings, 5 critical infrastructure objects, 6 educational institutions, 5 medical facilities, etc. Another missile hit the children's playground of Shevchenko Park in the center of the city.
