Yesterday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated more than 70 invaders, nine tanks, two howitzers in the south.

"Over the past day, we eliminated more than 70 occupiers, as well as nine tanks, two howitzers which, by the way, they [Russians] used to fire at Nikopol district," Natalia Humeniuk, the head of the joint coordination press center of the Defence Forces of the South of Ukraine, said during the nationwide telethon.

She emphasized that, having no success at the front, the Russian occupiers try to take revenge on the residents of those areas that are inaccessible to them.

"They fired S-300 missiles at Mykolaiv, targeting critical infrastructure there but, fortunately, there are no casualties in any district. This is the main thing for us. Our troops advanced from two to several dozens of kilometers in various areas of the southern front. In the near future, we will definitely reveal the names of localities that are happy to welcome our soldiers," Humeniuk noted.
