"Russian-occupation forces hit the district with Grad MLRS thrice. In Nikopol, residential neighborhoods were struck. Two people were injured – a man and a woman. They were taken to hospital. Doctors assess their condition as moderate," Valentyn Reznichenko, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.
Twenty apartment blocks and 11 private buildings were damaged in the town. One house was destroyed. Enemy shells slammed into a kindergarten, two schools, a technical creativity center, and a sports club. Several gas lines and cars were damaged.
Several power lines were also broken. More than 2,000 families remained without electricity. Emergency crews are already working to repair the lines.
