Twenty-six attacks launched on Donetsk region over past day

Over the past day, the enemy launched 26 strikes on Donetsk region, killing and injuring civilians.

As the press service of the National Police informs, 12 localities came under the Russian attacks: the towns of Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk, Slovyansk, Mykolaivka, Krasnohorivka, the villages of Pivnichne, Nelipivka, Karlivka, Opytne, Kostiantynopol, Shcherbynivka. In particular, Avdiivka withstood nine enemy attacks.

Russian troops struck with aviation, artillery, tanks, Grad MLRS, missiles.

The Russian army destroyed and damaged 20 residential buildings, a school, a health resort, and a power line.

The police collected evidence of every Russian war crime. The National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

On February 24, Russia began a new stage of the eight-year war against Ukraine – a full-scale offensive. The Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure facilities, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, rocket launchers, aerial bombs, and ballistic missiles.
