Ukraine Army downs Russia’s Ka-52 helicopter, five UAVs

Over the past day, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has destroyed Russia’s Ka-52 ‘Alligator’ helicopter and five operational-tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
The relevant statement was made by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“On August 23, 2022, the air-defense missile units of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed five operational-tactical level UAVs and one Ka-52 helicopter of Russian occupiers,” the report states.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s attack aircrafts and bombers struck the positions of Russian occupation forces 15 times.
