Three Russian UAVs shot down over Kherson Region

The Ukrainian military have destroyed three Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Kherson Region.

The relevant statement was made by the South Air Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On August 21, 2022, between 12:00 (noon) and 01:00 p.m., the South Operational Command’s servicemen detected and destroyed three unmanned aerial vehicles over Kherson Region, presumably Orlan-10, used by the enemy to conduct air reconnaissance and adjust fire,” the report states.

A reminder that, between February 24, 2022 and August 21, 2022, Russia’s total combat losses in Ukraine reached about 45,200 troops, as well as 1,912 tanks, 4,224 armored fighting vehicles, 1,028 artillery systems, etc.
