In an intercepted phone call, the wife of a Russian invader tells how the soldiers of one of the Russian military units jumped out of the trucks on their way to Ukraine warzones.

That’s according to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

The wife of the Russian soldier "agitates her husband to refuse to participate in the war and tells about the events unfolding in one of the units in Russia: "Many, many people wrote defiance reports. They were loaded into KAMAZ trucks, like, we are taking you to the airport to send you home. But they were taken in KAMAZ trucks towards Ukraine. They realized this on their way there and just started jumping out of trucks because a tank was moving in front of the convoy. Someone started shooting in the air. Some of them managed to ring their families. They ran in the opposite direction, going on for some 15 kilometers. Some had time to call their relatives, shouting: ‘Run to the prosecutor's office, file a report as soon as possible.’”

"They were held there as prisoners for several days. And when the incident went public, they said that they were taking them to carry out repair works. Now we will also start doing the same," the Russian woman said.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, intercepted phone calls prove that the Russian military in Ukraine is beginning to panic, not willing to engage in direct hostilities.
