Russians fire over 10 missiles at Mykolaiv and its outskirts

The Russian military have fired over 10 missiles at the city of Mykolaiv and its outskirts, attacking port, production and logistic infrastructure. Russian projectiles also hit a residential house and recreation center, causing casualties among civilians.

The relevant statement was made by the South Operational Command on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Over 10 missiles have been fired at Mykolaiv and its outskirts. The enemy continues to attack port and production infrastructure, logistic enterprises. But, they also hit potentially crowded places. In particular, the enemy struck a recreation center and apartment block on the outskirts of Mykolaiv and a garage cooperative in the city itself. Rescue works are underway. Casualties were reported. Information is yet to be updated,” the report states.

Last night Russian troops launched an artillery strike on Velyka Kostromka, Kryvyi Rih District. A power transmission line was damaged.

In the morning of June 29, 2022, Russian invaders launched a massive rocket and artillery strike on Mykolaiv Region.

As Russians struck the village of Shevchenkove, an empty grain storage caught fire. Such communities as Shyroke and Halytsynove also came under enemy fire.

Russia’s Kh-59 air-based missile hit agricultural lands in the Bereznehuvate community.

The enemy twice shelled the city of Ochakiv with the Smerch multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). According to the preliminary data, there were no casualties.

In Kherson Region, the situation is remaining tense in the temporarily occupied areas. In many settlements, local residents report on rotation in the Russian army. New Russian invaders seize the houses left by civilians. Russian troops continue to loot and abduct people.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s resistance movement makes the Russian collaborators nervous. On Ukraine’s Constitution Day, motivational leaflets, graffiti, yellow and blue ribbons appeared across all streets in Kherson.

Last night the Russian military fired two missiles at Odesa Region. The Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units destroyed Russia’s Onix missile over the sea. The other missile, Kh-59, hit the coastal area.

In the Black Sea, the Ukrainian forces continue to conduct a military operation on Snake [Zmiinyi] Island. As the storm ended, one more large landing craft joined the enemy’s naval group. The threat of missile strikes is persisting.
