War update for Ukraine’s south: 72 Russian soldiers killed, two ammo depots destroyed

Over the past 24 hours, 72 Russian occupiers were eliminated, while two ammunition depots, a fuel depot, three self-propelled howitzers, a mortar complex, and five armored vehicles were destroyed in the south of Ukraine.

This was reported on Facebook by the press service of Operational Command South, according to Ukrinform.

Ukraine fired a missile at the enemy command point and equipment cluster in the Nova Kakhovka area. Five f armored vehicles, two ammo depots, and a fuel depot were hit," the statement reads.

It is noted that the enemy continues to hold the previously occupied defense lines. No land activity has been recorded, while a number of air raids were carried out. Three Mi-8s struck the Ukrainian positions, in an attempt to regain territory in Mykolaivka. Achieving no success and evading Ukrainian air defense capacities, helicopters retreated. There are no losses reported.

Also in the morning, the enemy fired on the outskirts of Mykolaiv using Uragan MLR systems. According to OC South, there are no reports of destruction and casualties among the local population.

The situation in the Black Sea area remains unchanged as the enemy continues to keep in combat readiness 20 cruise missile carriers and three large landing craft.

In Odesa region, the enemy is spreading disinformation about local schools being seized by “militants.” In this way, the enemy tries to manipulate the feelings of the vulnerable local population, as well as to justify in advance their probable miscalculations in strikes involving obsolete missiles.
