Ukraine needs effective weapons to bring Russia back behind Iron Curtain - Podoliak

Mykhailo Podoliak, an adviser to the head of the Ukrainian President's Office, wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"If the West really wants Ukraine's victory, maybe it is time to give us long-range MLRS? It is hard to fight when you are attacked from a 70 km distance and have nothing to fight back with. Ukraine can bring Russia back behind the Iron Curtain, but we need effective weapons for that. Here and now," Podoliak wrote.

Earlier, the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, called on Western partners to provide Ukraine with American multiple launch rocket systems as soon as possible.

As reported, the U.S. presidential administration is preparing to increase arms supplies to Ukraine by providing modern long-range missile systems.
