In the southern direction, Ukrainian artillery has been actively destroying Russian forces with the help of Uragan MLR systems.

That’s according to the press service of Ukraine’s Land Forces, Ukrinform reports.

"Uragans (Hurricanes - ed.) hit the Russian invaders in the southern direction! The commander of the Ukrainian MLRS unit says that on cold mornings, the Russians regularly get ‘warmed up.’ And the artillerymen don’t let anyone do harm to our infantry!” the statement says.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine from February 24 to May 10 liquidated about 26,000 Russian servicemen and destroyed: 1,170 tanks, 2,808 armored combat vehicles, 519 artillery systems, 185 MLR systems, 87 air defense units, 199 warplanes, 158 helicopters, 380 operational and tactical-level UAVs, 94 cruise missiles, 12 warships/cutters, 1,980 trucks, including fuel tankers, and 41 units of special equipment.

In the past day, the enemy sustained greatest losses in the Avdiyivka direction.
