During the ceasefire regime, Russian invaders used an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) within the Azovstal plant and hit an evacuation vehicle intended to rescue civilians.

The relevant statement was made by the Azov Regiment on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“During the ceasefire on the territory of the Azovstal plant, a car was hit by Russians who used an anti-tank guided weapon. This car was moving towards civilians in order to evacuate them from the plant. As a result, one fighter was killed and six were wounded,” the report states.

The enemy continues to violate any agreements and does not follow security guarantees during the evacuation of civilians, the Azov Regiment stressed.

A reminder that, on May 6, 2022, the evacuation of civilians from the Mariupol-based Azovstal plant continued.
