Ukraine Army repels eight enemy attacks within JFO area

The relevant statement was made by the JFO’s press service on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Thanks to skillful actions and competence of the Ukrainian military, the JFO Group has repelled eight enemy attacks over the past day. Our soldiers inflicted losses on Russian occupiers,” the report states.

In particular, Ukrainian defenders destroyed four tanks, eight armored vehicles and seven motor vehicles.

Ukraine’s anti-aircraft defense units also shot down one Russian aircraft, one helicopter, four unmanned aerial vehicles and three cruise missiles over eastern Ukraine.

A reminder that, between February 24, 2022 and April 9, 2022, Russia’s combat losses in Ukraine included about 19,100 troops, 705 tanks, 1,895 armored fighting vehicles, 335 artillery systems, 108 multiple launch rocket systems, 55 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 151 aircrafts, 136 helicopters, etc.
