Ukrainian defenders repulse five enemy attacks in JFO area

In the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in the east, Ukrainian defenders successfully repulsed five attacks by Russian invaders on Sunday.

"Thanks to the skillful actions of the Joint Forces, five enemy attacks have been successfully repulsed over the day. Our defenders have inflicted losses on the Russian occupiers," the press service of the Joint Forces Operation posted on Facebook on the evening of March 27.

In particular, the Joint Forces members destroyed two tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, and a vehicle.

A total of 63 enemy attacks were repulsed last week. As a result, the Ukrainian military destroyed 80 tanks, 72 armored vehicles, 48 vehicles, 19 artillery systems, 7 unmanned aerial vehicles, 14 aircraft, a helicopter, an enemy patrol boat, and a Leer-3 electronic warfare system.

The Joint Forces also seized five enemy tracked armored fighting vehicles.

As reported, according to the General Staff, the armed forces of the Russian Federation try to capture Popasna, Rubizhne, Severodonetsk, and Mariupol in Donetsk direction. They have no success. An unsuccessful attempt to storm Krasnohorivka was made. The enemy suffered losses and retreated.
