Russian air strikes are now hitting the center of Mariupol.

The Mariupol City Council reported this on Telegram and posted a video, according to Ukrinform.

"Right now Mariupol is under air strikes by the Russian occupiers. Bombs are hitting residential houses. One shell hit the building of Pre-Azov State Technical University in the city center. The area of the Drama Theater have been bombed. Information about victims is being clarified. The rushists are purposefully attacking the civilian population of Mariupol,” the report says.

As reported, on February 24, Russia declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure. Missiles hit residential buildings.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.

Ukraine officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation with the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague.
