Zelensky on the chronology of war: Entire Ukraine has not been sleeping since then

In a video address to the British Parliament, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has outlined the chronology of war, which was started by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, and has been lasting thirteen days so far.

According to Zelensky, on the first day, at 4 a.m., Ukraine was attacked by Russian cruise missiles.

“Everybody woke up. We, children – all people, the entire Ukraine have not been sleeping since then. We have all been fighting for our country with our great Army,” Zelensky stressed.

On the second day, Ukrainians were repelling Russia’s air, land and sea attacks.

“Our heroic border guards on Zmiinyi Island in the Black Sea told everyone about how the war will end, namely where the enemy should go finally. When the Russian warship demanded that our servicemen lay down arms, they replied so firmly that I cannot repeat this in Parliament. And we have felt the force, the great force of our people, who will be opposing the occupier until the end,” Zelensky noted.

On the third day, the Russian military launched artillery and air strikes on civilians and residential houses, and the world could finally see, who of us are the great people, and who are simply beasts.

On the fourth day, the Ukrainian Army began to take dozens of Russian soldiers captive but did not lose dignity and did not torture them.

“We treat them as people, as we remained humane on the fourth day of this shameful war,” Zelensky said.

On the fifth day, the terror against Ukraine has become outright. The enemy bombarded cities and towns. According to Zelensky, this is genocide, which did not break us. It mobilized Ukrainians and gave them a sense of great truth.

On the sixth day, Russian missiles hit Babyn Yar. This is the place where the Nazis executed 100,000 people during World War II.

“80 years later, Russia killed them for a second time,” Zelensky stressed.

On the seventh day, it became obvious Russians were destroying even the churches. Hence, they do not know the holy and great, unlike Ukrainians.

On the eighth day, the world saw Russian tanks firing at Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. The largest nuclear power plant in Europe. “And the world began to understand that this is terror against all. This is a great terror,” Zelensky noted.

On the ninth day, Ukrainians listened to a meeting of NATO countries. Without the desired result for them. Without courage. “That's how we felt - I don't want to offend anyone - we felt that alliances don't work. They can't even close the sky. That is why security guarantees in Europe must be built from scratch,” Zelensky stressed.

On the tenth day, unarmed Ukrainians protested everywhere in the occupied cities. Stopping armored vehicles with bare hands. “We have become unbreakable,” Zelensky noted.

On the eleventh day, when residential areas were already bombed, when everything was destroyed by explosions, when children were evacuated from a damaged children's oncology hospital... Ukrainians realized: they became heroes. Hundreds of thousands of people. Entire cities. Children, adults - all.

On the twelfth day, when the losses of the Russian army exceeded 10,000 killed, the general also appeared in this number.

“And this gave us confidence: for all crimes, for all shameful orders there will still be responsibility before the International Court or Ukrainian weapons,” Zelensky said.

On the thirteenth day, a child died in Russian-occupied Mariupol. Died of dehydration.

“They do not allow food or water to people. They just blocked it - and people are in the basements. I think everyone hears: people don't have water there!” Zelensky stressed.
