Mariupol town, Donetsk region, is cut off from electricity, heat, water supply, and communication.

"Mariupol has been under siege by the Russian occupiers for eight days in a row. The town has no electricity, heat, water supply or communications," the press service of the National Guard of Ukraine posted on Telegram.

It is noted that Mariupol has been waiting for the "green corridor" for three days, but the invaders use it every time for their own purposes: they start shelling and then regroup their troops to take more advantageous positions.

As reported, the Russian Federation has once again disrupted the opening of humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of civilians from the encircled towns in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Kherson regions.

On February 24, Russian president Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are shelling and destroying key infrastructure, conducting massive shelling of Ukrainian towns and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launcher systems, and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.

Ukraine officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation at the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague.
