Ukrainians warned of rain and thunderstorms today

On Thursday, June 8, heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected in Ukraine, and hail and squall of 15-20 m/sec will be in some areas of the country.
The press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this with reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
"On June 8, heavy rains will be in Zakarpattia, Carpathian region, Khmelnytsky and Zhytomyr regions, very heavy rains - in the Carpathian mountains, thunderstorms - in western, northern and Vinnytsia regions, and hail and squalls of 15-20 m/s - in some areas of the country," the report said.
In addition, thunderstorms and squalls of 15-20 m/s are expected in Kyiv and Kyiv region in the middle of the day.
